Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Fit Me That! helps you adapt recipes toward nutrition goals and dietary restrictions, using AI to suggest ingredient changes, and lets you look up and save real product nutrition data by barcode. Nutrition figures shown anywhere in the Service - whether estimated from ingredients, pulled from Open Food Facts, or entered by the community - are estimates for informational purposes only.

Fit Me That! is not medical, dietary, or health advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified physician, registered dietitian, or other healthcare professional. Dietary restriction options (e.g. gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, nut-free) reflect your stated preference and are not a certified allergen-safety guarantee - if you or someone you're cooking for has a medical allergy or condition, verify every ingredient yourself and consult a professional before relying on any adapted recipe.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. One trial per person/account - creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free trials is not permitted.

Eligible new accounts may start a 7-day free trial, which includes up to 7 "Make It Fit Me" adaptations. A payment method is required to start a trial, and you won't be charged during the trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically begins at the then-current subscription price (currently $2.99 USD/month), billed monthly until canceled. Each account is eligible for one free trial.

You can cancel anytime through the account management portal in the app (powered by Stripe). If you cancel during the free trial before the trial ends, your paid subscription will not begin and you will not be charged the monthly subscription fee. If you cancel after a paid subscription has begun, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise, and we don't provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

We may change subscription pricing from time to time. Any change will be communicated as required by applicable law and will take effect no earlier than the date stated in the notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, usage caps, or subscription/trial restrictions;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the Service or its underlying data;
• Submit false or intentionally misleading product/nutrition data to the shared community database;
• Interfere with the Service's normal operation or attempt to access another user's account or data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of the recipe text, product corrections, and other content you submit. By submitting it, you grant Codeplement Studio a license to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the Service - including sending recipe text to third-party AI providers for adaptation (see our Privacy Policy) and adding product corrections you submit to the shared community product database, visible to other users.

The Service uses third-party data sources (including Open Food Facts, a public, community-maintained product database) and third-party providers (including Anthropic for AI processing, Stripe for payments, and Supabase/Vercel for hosting). We don't control the accuracy of third-party data and aren't responsible for its errors.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THAT NUTRITION ESTIMATES, AI-GENERATED ADAPTATIONS, OR THIRD-PARTY PRODUCT DATA ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR HEALTH NEED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codeplement Studio Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any damages related to health outcomes, allergic reactions, or reliance on nutrition information provided through the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
